Domster's right, servicing more but the car will be newer and therefore probably more reliable so you'll save it in age related running repairs. I had one for 12 months and spent nothing on it other than servicing. I also had a 3.2 for the same length of time and although still very reliable, I did have to replace a couple of bits (heater fan packed up etc)
Richard - What's a PPI? (I'm assuming some kind of Porsche Inspection?)
Better to just get someone who owns one/knows plenty about them to come with you/let you compare their car to yours etc. The Inspections don't always pick up on the important stuff and also try to scare you with things that aren't really worth worrying about.
I know a car that had a POrsche inspection which 'missed' the fact that it had had two new rear corners, a bonnet, front wing..... they said that cos they'd been changed fairly well they didn't think it was important and were concentrating more on mechanical stuff - Fat use that is when you come to sell the car and no-one will touch it cos it's been accident damaged.

My mate has owned his 964 C4 RHD (right) for 6 months now, and he paid just £13,000. OK, so it has 140,000 miles on the clock, but what a car for the money. It is in good nick, and the last owner did some pretty major servicing last year to the tune of £2,500 or so, so at the moment nothing needs to be done. For the type of money you're talking about, I would look for something similar, inspected properly of course.
