gday all.

I used to do creatine in varying forms when I was training proprly but havent for a long time.

Starting to get back into it, wondered any current reccomendations as Im out of the loop on these.

Also any other tips very grateful also, not getting heavily into it but just need to sort myself out a bit, diet already underway tragically!

Bog standard Mono is as good as any if you need to take it.

Not sure how the serum works as im sure i read somewhere that creatine does not remain active in liquids for very long.

I use the bog standard creatine powder. I buy in bulk from one of the online suppliers, like the whey consortium. Works out loads cheaper than buying a "named" brand. I usually add some carbohydrate powder to it like maltodextrin and works for me.

I just find the mono capsules so much easier to live with.

I can tell when I'm on them - I commute in by bike and then train once at lunchtime and again prior to cycling home. If I don't take the creatine, that cycle home is exhausting and the 2nd workout very very hard. I can push further with the creatine, and even if that's a placebo effect, it's a pretty cheap one for the results I'm getting!

Much the same I'd say, just get some cheap mono form My Protein/Bulk Powers/Bodybuilding Warehouse etc.

I used it for about 6 months back in the days when it was ridiculously expensive. Didn't notice any difference so I stopped.

I'd say it's a waste of time as well, though lots swear by it.

Agreed, I go for the Myprotein creatine because they provide an excellent service and it's good stuff whilst remaining cheap.

No need for any fancy packaged creatine, it does not make any difference whatsoever regardless of what the advertising promises.

I've got a farty arse anyway, so never noticed the difference. But, yep, lots and lots of water consumption (also tied to 4 lots of phys a day) and lots and lots of peeing!

Plenty of practice for when you are in your 60s though and need to get up during the night for a piss without fail laugh

Personally I'd go with Bodybuilding Warehouse Creatine Gluconate:

http://www.bodybuildingwarehouse.co.uk/bodybuildin...

I got far better results on Gluconate than with mono.

I used Mono from MyProtein a few years back and didn't notice any gains, also got a few brown blotches appear on my skin.

Used CEE from MyProtein about 6 weeks ago and noticed some size increases and found i had more energy at the gym.

Safest and arguably most effective creatine is Kre-alkalyn, it is also the least harmful to your body.

Myprotein do one, but Im using one from thesupplementstore (all american EFX), and is very good.

Do you have any research on that?
