Hey, I've got a small image gallery at my site if anyone wants to have a look around it.
Here
I havent had time recently to fix the code properly, or sort out the missing images... but most of it works ok.
As soon as I'm outta uni and workin I'm going to get some proper hosting and make sure all of the images work

Let me know what you think!

Just tried your gallery in Firefox and tha background doesn't load. Needless to say white background + white writing = not a lot! S'fine in IE though.

Just had a look too, I don't mean to offend but I didn't bother to read any text, black/white combo really isn't easy on the eye.

Fun photo of Sheba looking like she's about to lick/eat the camera tho!

Feel free to ignore my comments - I know nothing about web design!

Quite like the photo setting in the right pane when a picture is selected, how is that done manually?

The shitehawks at Seahouses really are quite a size aren't they.

Since I changed to using asp. I've had to use a software app to extract the EXIF data from the original photo, and put it into a db. I couldn't find any code to do this on-the-fly.

Firefox

I reckon the problem with the black background not showing up in a decent browser is that you've got the nesting of tags in your HTML all messed up.

You open the style tag, then have a load of meta tags before the CSS, then close the style.

Try sorting that out by moving the opening style tag down under the meta tags and just before your CSS classes.

I've changed a few parts of my site, and put it up temporarily at

www.drhunter.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/

This site will only be here until the end of this month though as I've cancelled my broadband and I'll be losing the free web space. Can anyone recommend some cheap/free hosting that allows ftp access. I currently have space on brinkster to host the site but it's a lot of hassle to upload 900+ files through the browser 5files at a time!
