Peter Wheeler's Green / purple flip-flop pain job is just what I'm looking for to repaint my starmist green Chimaera. Does it have a name?

I had chance to see it up close at Croft this weekend and decided that would do nicely.

Looks like Reflex Charcoal to me IIRC.

Why didn't you ask the man himself?

The Tuscans are racing again in a couple of weeks, and there will be at least one PHer there. If you post closer to the time (w/e 15th May), I'm sure that you could get the answer straight from the horses mouth (as it were).

I'll ask next time I see him - or Jonathan, his race engineer next time I speak to the factory race dept.

Thanks. I did try but he was somewhat elusive at Croft.

No he wasn't. I was tripping over him all over the bloody place.

You're supposed to drive round him, not through him .

That's easy for you to say. Every time I pointed mine into a gap it suddenly filled with flip flop green Tuscan

Jonathan did ask why there was blue paint on the back of No 8. I'd forgotten we'd touched to be honest - although it did explain why the lower part of my bonnet has a slice through it - those carbon fibre diffusers are like knives!!

I spoke to Peter on Friday. The paint is either Reflex green or reflex purple - he couldn't remember which! I had some on the back of No 6 after Silverstone, but I've polished it out
