There's another thread running where the latest news is that she spoke to a friend and was on her way to the airport, the embassy are aware of her and she's on the evac list, but no news after that.

A couple of threads with mentions of her

The main Libya one : http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

And a brief one in the Lounge : http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

And a slightly older one : http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Apparently did appear on FB briefly but no concrete news of location.

Good news I'm sure, although I've never met her and you aren't painting a very attractive picture either. Or were there other passengers? biggrin

Thats great news! And knowing Clare she's had the time of her life flying in a military plane surrounded by mediterranean soldiers.

Good point.

IIRC in my very, very dim and distant memory, when PistonHeads felt like it was at least 50% TVR owners, did Gaffer's dad not have some significant connection to the factory? Certainly, I know there has been a Gaffer on PH for a long time.

Can anyone edify the rest of us?

Didn't she claim to have the first sagaris off the production line?
