Just watching the one show on BBC and the Fire alarm has just gone off, anyone have any idea if the place is roaring?

Well the irony wasn't lost on me, a programme about Barbecuing would have been more apposite, no?

I had the BBC on in the background, they didn't exactly react quickly to the fire alarm and the call to leave the building did they?

According to a friend of mine that works in a big circular building there, One Show isn't filmed in the usual studios but down the road in a converted office of all places.

Correct. It's the same building that houses the Top Gear offices. Just off the A40, there's a manikin with a stig suit on in the window.
