Lost the keys of my S1......%$#@

Help is needed overhere. A friend of mine lost his keys for his S1 and has no spare keys (very smart).
So where are the doorkeys from ? And who made the steering column with the key-housing ?

Door locks Capri, steering column Sierra and the same as the year of the car I guess.

I know it says UK mainland postage only but if you were really stuck and wanted this then I could help you out...

there are various Sierra Locksets on ebay too...

barrels should be interchangeable

I have a spare set of 2 x door lock barrels and 1 x ignition barrel with a matching key for an S which I bought from Douglas Valley a while back but have never used. PM me if interested

Definitely sierra on an S3, or at least bearings, mounting clamp etc are so assume whole column is, doesn't mean components aren't same for both though wrt ignition switch etc

Could be worse...he could be at chatsworth house in Derbyshire and locked them in the boot......................sits and waits for comments....

Just for the record (again) I didn't lock the keys in the boot - some 'kind sole' shut my boot whilst I was at the front of the car, thus locking my coat (& keys) in the boot

Still, it kept us all entertained for the afternoon
