Well, speaking as someone who has a Marcos for sale (on www.pistonmechips) that's a good point. But as my car already been on Top Gear, been in Esquire decorated but the real Lara Croft and will be appaering in a new SKY programme called 'Carnage' this Spring, I do not need any more provenance. <This is now becing a shameless plug>. Back to the topic: anyway, they have only let Shane out in a poofter's 4.6 rather than a full 5.0 GTO. so no harm will come I am sure.

Has anyone seen 'Carnage'? Wow... what an incredibly crap programme. I can't believe that even the Max Power boys get excited about this. It's got no content. After a few Guinni the other night I watched a 5 minute 'feature' on some blonde hairdresser's diesel Escort. Then a piece on tuning engines which amounted to 'get a turbo'. It was painful to watch. And on the Shane wasshisname subject... have you seen the gaggle of 13 year old girls that follow him around at the Powertour meets? I'd be a tad embarressed if I was him.

Yeah watched it the other night, what crap indeed! they had a feature called "fast slags" or something and this ugly bird was going on about some boring 1.1 Fiesta with clear indicators and alloys, and was going on about how she likes to race around in it, well good f*cking luck to you! . I thought it was great!! me and some friends were in tears....saw one with the guy in his purple escort cab with the flip up stereo.. "The thing I like best about this car is the dump valve. Its there to make this 'whoosh' noise when I take my foot off the throttle...thats what it does" fantastic!! On the subjest of Shane Lynch, they had CC Deville (american rock type person from 'Poison') on the big breakfast recently...they were comparing 'real rockers' with todays teen fodder and said "'well shane from Boyzone did some rallying and spun the rally car, how about you" CC: "yeah, cars...mmm (sounds rather a lot like Jerry Lee Lewis - very odd!) well after we recorded our first major album I went out an bought me a Shelby Cobra to celebrate. Now the thing abotu the cobra is that it was really powerful and didnt handle all that well. I kinda thrashed it around for a few days and then spun it into Billy Baldwins house and wrote it off" - proper rock star!
