On a mountain bike...

Just checked the pressure, and down to 65. Should be btw 100 - 110. I do not check them regularly (though this will now change)

Is this indicative of a seal (or similar) leaking, or is this just 'one of those things' (they all do that sir...!)

Forks are Rockshox, about 11mths old...

Cheers

Pump them back up and see how long it takes for the pressure to drop.

A few years ago now, so may not be relevant, but a friend had Boxxers on his bike that needed regular attention from new.

If you are riding regularly, i.e 2-3 times a week it is generally recommended to get them serviced once a year.

Although to be honest mine haven't been done in 4!!

Bombers are very robust indeed (old ones at least...), Rockshox will require a bit more TLC.

Nevertheless, a service no more than once a year should suffice, and keep on top of the air pressure, should need topping up once a month or so.
