So, who is getting it this Friday?

There is a demo on Live for it, I thought it was pretty good fun.

Done by a small division of Epic (of Gears of War fame) so has a similar feel graphically.

The Epic Edition also comes with a beta for GoW 3 which could be good.

I'm gonna give it a go.

I bought it through Steam.

Only played an hour or so last night, but its a great laugh and does bring back memories of Duke.

Started playing this afternoon, very impressed, really good fun, love the "mature" dialog

Reminds me of borderlands a little, and the whip thing is blatently stolen from just cause (though a bit less flexible in it's usage)

Just finished the chase with huge mining wheel thingummy and the minigun, v cool

Interesting game. I tryed it at the student union bar, and it was a good laugh. I wouldn't say it was the most brilliantly dynamic gameplay, but there were some great moves and amusing touches - maybe once you get used to it it gets a bit slicker!
I got a free EA t-shirt for my troubles to, so it was definitely worth trying

Awesome fun so far. It's a totally different slant to most shooters these days, in that it's all about building and maintaining momentum. Rather than hiding in cover, popping up to shoot every now and then, you are running and strafing constantly, lassoing enemies off cliffs and into traps, setting up huge explosion and trying your best to create combo kills and killstreaks. The graphics are excellent, the guns are great, it's slick, stylish and a load of fun so far.

I bought it on impulse and thought it was a bit poor TBH. It looked pretty but so far has been way too linear for my liking - so much so that I went back to AC2 Brotherhood.

If it gets better I'll have to give it another chance, but has seemed devoid of ideas so far.
