Pretty much anything made in this country is the 70s and 80s.

Lightweight cars such as the Citroen AX. Better fuel economy than a lot of new cars, but wouldn't get past safety legislation

The boggo everyday Sierra seems to be totally gone. A few Cosworths still running, but I never see any 1.8LX or the like.

You tend to see more Cavaliers still taxed than Sierras

Vauxhall - Viva/Magnum/Fierenza/Chevette/Nova mk1/Astra mk1

Chrysler/Talbot - Avenger/Sunbeam/Alpine/Tagora

Ford - Escort (apart from the very last of the last)/Cortina/Sierra/Fiesta mk1,2,3

Nissan - Bluebird/Micra (before the bubble one)

AustinRover - Anything at all is getting rare, even R75's

Nice enough, there's an old 1.8 that's lived near me for a while. Seems to be kept reasonably. I also see a Scorpio occasionally, and a Granada lives nearby. Must be an old Ford hub around here biggrin

Old Merc saloons seem increasingly rare.

Mostly the 1.8i or 1.7TD. Both the 18SE and Isuzu 1.7 engines keep on going, which seems to keep the Cavalier on the road far longer than you'd expect. They don't seem to rust too badly either.
