Snow Plough thing was indeed a bit lame, apart from JC nose diving into the Snow to check its depth, I found that very amusing, guest was scraping the barell and JC needs to avoid the lascivious behaviour as he is starting to come across as a creepy old perv, like Jonathan Ross, he can compliment a nice looking lady without sounding like a sex offender in the making.

Really, who cares? I don't like Songs of Praise, but enough people do to warrant it going (if it still is) Just don't watch it. Or write to Points of View, maybe they will give a s

At the end of the day its a entertainment show that includes a small amount of motoring journalism, not a motoring journalism show.
Yes its set up for comedy value, and it makes people laugh.
If your watching thinking its a motoring show, then i am sure you will have the view that its officially rubbish, however if you want an entertaining show, with the odd fast car, and a bit of eye candy in the form of a guest now and then its great.
Seems that everyone who thinks its rubbish want a all out motoring show, this its not, far from it just dont see the point of going over it again, and again.

I loved their idea of every farmer lending the council their £200,000 combine harvester to clear snow.
I'm sure loads for farmers will see the allure of taking their most expensive, most complicated and most temperamental machines out onto the salty roads in the freezing weather just to push a lump of iron through some snow. Not withstanding the fact that a combine is nearly 4m wide with a top speed of about 15mph- it'd cause more harm than good.
In trying to be all ironic and funny they have made a total hash up of what could otherwise have been an interesting, entertaining and useful feature! They could have had twice as much fun kitting out a conventional tractor to do the same job, and it'd have been 100x better at it, and had a modicum of relevance to the actual situation we have when it snows. A JCB Fastrac- like the one in my profile pic- clearing snow at 40mph would be much more of a spectacle, and they could still have done the grit cannon/flame thrower gags on the back of it.
