"Posh" car history folders
Discussion
Can't decide if a good idea or a bit naff.

...In any case, are there other companies that offer similar in order that I can do a comparison?

I've got a lower-end version of the same thing - just a hard folder with plastic sleeves, with sections for registration documents, MOTs, insurance docs, service history files, my paper licence, etc etc. Very nice, and a good way to keep stuff together. Not sure about the worth of a posh leather one, though - you're hardly gonna carry it around often, are you?
While I'd love to receive a leather bound folder (as I wouldn't be paying for it as such!) it's the contents I'm more interested in. As such a neat card ringbinder from WHSmith full of well organised plastic wallets will do just fine.
My own car has a rather fat leverarch folder. 6.5 years worth of expense. I added it all up once
Out of interest how do you all organise your receipts etc?

Got to say, I have a plastic folder with all bills etc in it seperate to the service book. I keep all the old mot's, tax discs, invoices for tyres/wheel alignment/service parts etc etc and sometimes an orginal purchase brochure off of ebay for a couple of quid.
When I buy and a car has something like this it's great and makes me feel the car's been really well cared for and i'd hope to a potential buyer my effort would mean the same.
