Stone in the pipe...

Any thoughts on getting a rattly stone out of the silencer?

... so should be possible unless I'm underestimating the interior design of said pipes

Someone must have had this before though and got so annoyed to the extent that they designed the perfect stone removal tool from sticky-backed tape and old golf clubs... or something??

I'm guessing oiks are responsible somewhere along the way...

Brilliant ! i can just see his wife next time she uses the Hoover putting black marks on the carpet....

How hard did you back into the pile of gravel to get a stone IN the silencer...???

Don't be ridiculous, i didn't hit a pile of gravel or, unbelievably have something come in through the filter... I was driving backwards up the M40 at speed when said erroneous stone flew up from the car in front (or arguably behind).

I'm just grateful it got caught by the pipes as it would have made another handsome chip to add to the collection. Lucky really...

Personally,i'd find out who the little fecker was who put it in there in the first place and make him stick his hand down the pipe and get it out,or as its a two into one into two pipe,can't you block off the pipe its not in to increase the pressure in the other ?

Park on a REALLY steep hill and then jack the car up as high as it will go and maybe the stone will just roll out.
