I think the Grange network of Jag dealers still have a few brand new XJ220's left, (they bought the last 30 or so from Jaguar).

yeah, but isn't the Mac F1 better than the jag?
It's faster for a start.

I'd prefer the Mac any day. I wish I had an XJ220 I could swap with him.

The 220's are still around in showrooms. I was down in Brentwood in Essex, and the Jag dealer had an unregistered LHD one in the showroom. Looked the bits, but would not fit in my garage, so I declined

You could probably sell the F1 and get 4 Jags!

Personally I would keep the F1 though!

That is one shocking interior... and IMO he's having a giggle if he think's it's worth a G when I could get an Alfa 75 V6 for same money...

That said, there's one on AutoRaider for £2800

Agreed, no cred until someone has driven it.

Would be a cheap track car though as it's rival was the Lotus Sunbeam and they are going for £5k.

the Chevette seriously slapped the Escort silly when it was rallying in the 70's and a mate claims you get a janet speed exhaust made up and swap the strombergs for webbers you are looking at an instant 30-50 bhp , also you can tell if there genuine by the very untidy welding on the rear suspension

Coming back from karting in a rapid mini-convoy with two TVRs and a 911, a stonking great car came up behind us. I thought it was an XK220. Got home and looked it up - and it was. 'A Smith and Wesson beats four aces...'
