PS3 keyboard

looking for a half decent ps3 keyboard which can just be plugged in by usb. any suggestions?

I use this one . Nice and flat so it doesn't take up too much space, and its black too so it matches my TV and PS3 Can't complain at 13 quid to be honest, it works fine.

I use the centrepiece of a controller I used to use in FFXI, which looks similar to the one posted above. Logitech Netplay, I think it was called.

If you have a laptop with bluetooth, you can use that instead.

Any old USB keyboard for a PC will work fine, that's all I use. Can probably pick one up for well under a fiver on ebay etc.

Or if you have a jailbroken iPhone, download WeBe++ and use your phone's touchscreen as a bluetooth keyboard.

with usb ones, is it a case of plugging in and it'll work, or do you need to set it up?

Just plug it in and you're ready to go

It just works, you can even use it to navigate the menus etc in place of a controller, arrow keys plus Return(X) and Escape(O) get you round the menus in GT5 etc.

someone has lent me a logitech mediaboard pro which works nicely, however, it has an auto switch off function after 10mins. this means i can't do what i planned on doing. is there a way of making it not turn itself off after 10mins of inactivity? cheers

That will be a keyboard function rather than a PS3 function. There must be a way of waking it up again isnt there? Hit a key or move the mouse?

i know, press a button and it wakes up. but there is a cheat so i want the keyboard to stay on.

it's possible to get Aspec to run a red bull round dream car champ, and win, with no user input and a keyboard with the enter button constantly depressed to keep restarting the race once done it'll do 2 races but the keyboard turns itself off

yes A spec!!! you can get 5-6 million credits overnight! no, doesn't stay awake. i'll just get a wired keyboard no worries.
