Anybody know of any good de-greasers to clean old engine parts up with ? I've used Gunk before but it seems to stink to high heaven and stays with you for days - can't go through that again !

Maybe one which smells of lavender or something ?

I always use plain parraffin, much cheaper than the likes of Gunk, Jizer etc and worls better imho. A blast with a hose after leaves it pretty much oil-free.

Fair power spray on a warm engine is quite good and is detergent based, followed by the jetwash..

Parafin and fairy liquid followed by a good jetwash will clean most things.
