Is it worth the extra £££?
Coming up to renewal.
+'vs Agreed Value for the year - so no quibbles on claim £ if a total loss occurs
Free Breakdown Cover
Fully Comp on other cars which you drive - and for named drivers on Chubb cover
Any other driver is fully comp to drive your cars so long as you give them permission to. I never quite understand this as basically you could say to a 17 year old who had just passed his/her test to take the Veyron (if i had one!!!) for a spin and they would be fully comp insured!!! Would like to see what would happen in reality!!!

-'vs Cost - 20% more than the next best alternative - there isn't really an alternative when it comes to covering the policyholder and named drivers fully comp on ANY other car as I don't think any other insurance co do this?
Although its nice to have in place - when do i actually drive anyone elses cars or they drive mine? Not very often so probably paying for cover I don't need.
Have never had a claim with them so dont know how they are at paying out.
Have a 'high risk' driver who needs to be insured - Chubb seem to play ball here.
Get dragged in to taking the house insurance with them also - again very comprehensive cover but is it really needed?

Any comments on Chubb or cover like Chubb's appreciated.

The Chubb policy is fantastic, the claims service is what you are really paying for on the household side, it is very prompt and generally they dont say no. I wouldnt hesitate in paying the extra.
