I'm a newbie to any kind of networking. I would be eternally grateful if someone could tell me if i'm talking sense here.

I have 2 PC's upstairs that currently share a BT dial-up socket for internet access, although i want them both to have broadband which is available in my area. I have an Xbox downstairs that i want to do some online gaming with. I don't want to run any cables downstairs.

Could i physically connect the two PC's to a wireless ADSL Gateway (eg Netgear DG824M) for broadand connection and use a wireless Ethernet bridge for my xbox?

Would i need any other kit? Does the ADSL Gateway need a filter?

Cheers.
