I'm pretty much housebound and I'm fed up of not having any money and not being able to get any in.

I've got PC skills:
Can build basic but effective websites (see www.grahamjyoung.co.uk ) but not brilliant ones as I'm still learning.
Can word process.
Can use Photoshop reasonably effectively etc etc.

I'm keen and have the time and motivation to be of some use to someone.

Has anyone got any ideas of what jobs I could do??

TIA

Graham

Tell ya what Graham, do all the research for my dissertation and I'll give you a fiver...

Seriously, if anyone needs a hard working, motivated and friendly assistant that can do work via email/post or if you're based near Farnham in Surrey then drop Graham an email.

Hi,
This is such an interesting point. Wouldn't you think it would be easy to have outworkers instead of people sat in an office or factory all day?
I had a chance conversation with someone in the same situation who worked a home shopping business from home, and did quite nicely from it if I may say so. Just for interest on this subject, try out www.trythis.org.uk & www.successpages.tk. You never know, could be something in it.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for that,

My problem is that I am housebound due to illness and have been for 2 years and am trying to think of something useful to do with my time.

If I could work I would do, but I can't so I'm trying to think of alternatives.

I'll check out those links, thanks

Lots of promises, but no contents. What's this fabulous opportunity all about? Tell us Simon!
It's not a scam, is it?

I sent off for an information pack to see what it's all about but I've tried a few of these places and they've been twaddle, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and see what they say when the bumph comes through.

Second link didn't work.

Graham, don't believe offers that promise jobs without having to be educated or taking responsability.
Benefit never comes from doing nothing, other than inherit something.

Hi,

Thanks for the extra postings. Two way's this can work and you are right, something for nothing won't work unless you inherit it. But, in our true British style of scepticism would it not be better to get the maximum return for the most convienient input? This means time to work when you want to not when the boss wants you to. So really it can therefore be worked around what you are doing or not doing at the moment. It can either suit people house bound or active by working a refferal system. The otherside is to actually work the home shopping business in your local area.

Sounds like some form of MLM to me... time share maybe?

I've seen template sites plenty of times advertised in the back of various mags... all routes lead to Herbal Life. (I'm not saying this is a bad thing. I'm sure many hard working people have enjoyed financial freedom from such schemes. )

I always find reading the meta tags in these suggested web pages fastening.

My best guess would be Amway.

Hello again,

No not Herbalife or Amway. Can you see that people are being successful here? that's why the links are there. I will say though, 17 Piston heads viewers have responded so some people are looking for more, some are not. Sounds like some of you have tried Herbalife and Amway, how successful were you?
