Hello, and welcome! Yes, we will accept cars built of Teutonic girders, and we promise not to leave you behind on the runs if you promise not to laugh at us if we break down.

Most of the people on here drive TVR's of some description.

tvrBob, MickC own Chimera's
Byff, Malman own Cerbera's
(not sure on engine sizes in these beasts )
Bomb owns a T350
WildfireS3 a S3
Dexy a 350 Wedge I believe
wendgyg a Elise (limited ed as well if I'm not mistaken)
3rrt has a Noble M12 GTO (how could I forget that???)
Minimax used to own 1700 xFlow Westie but thats gone now.
I a Marlin Roadster (kit car but I'm on 21)

Depends on the roads as to if we'd keep up, although the earlier Tivvers would easily give you a run for you money I'm reckoning.
Wendyg would have you on the corners easily.
and I with my leaf springs would follow up the rear

have a look into my website for pics from the various meets (www.stefancarlton.net -> pictures -> vehicles / meets & shows.)

And then I shall follow up Stefan as I will probably have no wipers when it's raining.

incidently, my car is somewhat worse than first assumed - the gearbox has to come off now to get to the clutch.

Not making it to the meets for some time I fear. PF2004 even looks suspect due to time constraints at the moment.

Theres at least one Noble knocking around also. So that'll be South African plastic you have to beat too. Or is it the chassis they build over there - can't remember.

Byff if you want to try it with a 996 Turbo be my guest but i think its a bit one sided, True BHP instead of BDP (blackpool donkey power) and 4 wheel drive.
We will follow and collect all the bits that break or drop off ......... Your cats just did!!!!!!!!!

It's a cross between, bad luck and other people.

It's the rolling chassis thats built by Hi Tech in Port Elizabeth, SA. Then shipped to the UK. The engine and gearbox and final assembly is done at Noble HQ in Barwell, Leicestershire.

It will see a 996 turbo off 0 - 100mph, (in the dry) then the porky will come back after 100mph. Where permitted officer.

The Noble came a very close runner up to the 996 Turbo last year, as the ultimate road car from A to B. Less expensive than the porky also. Not bad for a marque that's been around for only a couple of years.

I hope to make Kielder and offer some passenger rides.

Cheers,
Ian.
