Chaucer no longer offering cover!

Chaucer no longer offering stand alone TVR insurance. Very disappointed as their premiums and claims handling were excellent.

Same boat here - apparently they handled too many claims well and it no longer paid

Just had my multi car renewal notice from Jelf. The policy will still be with Chaucer and includes the Tuscan. Price is the same as last year so will probably stick with them. Will have to check the trackday situation with them though.

Chaucer have just taken my money received a cover note just yesterday that starts tomorrow to cover the 350. To be fair it is a multi vehicle policy with my L200.

Will make a call Monday to check all is well.

Hmmm. I had a multicar policy with Chaucer / Jelf for several years - 2 mercs and a Chimp. This year (January) premium had increased considerably - Chaucer wanted £1500. I moved the whole lot to Admiral multicar for £1000. Same cover etc.

As the OP says, it is only stand alone policies that they are no longer doing, there is no change to their multi vehicle policies.

Mine was renewed on 31st Janaury - standalone on the Tamora.

Yep, I got notification from Jelf/Chaucer a while back they were not insuring standalone TVR Policies, been with them ever since I have had my Chim (2002).

Just renewed today with Classicline for £323.

Just beat you at £300 then, with Chaucers Sports Car Scheme, Classicline also quoted me, at £312 this morning.

Great to see premiums coming down, when others are going up around us. Hope it's nothing to do with the value of our future classic TVRs!
