'GT03 XXX' type number plates on GT3's - Cool or Naff?
Discussion
This is a question which polarises views. I happen to dislike personalised numberplates as I consider them to be vulgar displays of self-importance.
But some would say this answer amounts to something very similar
Besides, on a GT3 - exactly what does the numberplate add to the car? Is it not loud or special enough for you already?

PS - Not saying yet why I am asking!!
Come on! Have you gone & got one or what?!Eta-me personally, I think they're naff, I mean the cars not called a gto3 is it?
I don't mind snidey plates-just look at my cars in fact I love them! But it's got to look correct-
I'd rather have a plate such as XGT 310Y & space it X GT3 OY
it's not gonna be expensive is it?

Yep been looking for one myself.
99.99% of the road going public have no idea what a gt3 is so I don't think it can really be construed as ostentatious.
Unfortunatley, all combos of my name have gone along with all the other 3 letter combos I fancied tacking on the end.
If a plate isn't listed for sale on the dvla website and hpicheck reveals its not attached to a car, is there anyway of finding out who owns a plate?

I care not whether my car makes me look cool or a total knob....if you saw me or know me you'll know I'm certainly not cool.
I bought my plate (see profile) as I think they suit the cars. I was probably bored one day and had a look on DVLA's site as I'm not bothered about private plates either. It cost me the princely sum of £240.00 all in and it has my children's initials A, M and O on it.
Oh and it also makes the car go like a bullet..
