Blair is quite honest here - from a regional stability pov, Mubarak was perfect however internally his time is up and people want him out.

Pretty much what the rest of us have been saying the 'Tunisia/Egypt' thread on here.

Hasnt Mubarak amassed a personal fortune of around $40bn? For all of the stabalising that he has brought to the region, he has managed to line his own pockets at the same time.

Why do these people insist of accumulating so much money? I guess once you have gone past the first $10m, the rest just seems easy?

Mubarak is 'immensely courageous and a force for good'

Blair was making a comparison between himself and Mubaraksmile

Actually I agree him (that's a first)
At the expense of repeating my post in the other thread.
GDP and Tax Rev met target.
No massive Loan defaults.

History may be kinder to Mubarak than Blair. (it should be)
