I'm a little upset that our new "small" government has yet to hand P45s to the following:
  • CRB parasites - 1 transferable check is more than enough
  • SCP parasites - personally I'd drown then to save on redundancy/benefits
I can't help feeling my list is *FAR* *TOO* little, what have I missed?

Worst case, we rehire at minimum wage... wink

Now, what made you think that?
What legislation has this Government repealed to shrink the "reach" of Government, nationally or locally?

I hope they implement some of this man's ideas too.

A forlorn hope.
It's about a mindset that seeks to maximise efficiency.
Now, why would any element of the Public Sector seek to do so?

Nothing that the bloatmeisters have done as yet.

I smiled when they said they would cut, currently I'm sneering...

Instead of legalising illegal drugs, I think the government should allow companies to sell anti-depressants over the counter without prescription.

From what I've seen, people turn to drugs mainly because they are depressed but for whatever reason don't want to see their GP about it, so they go the easy route and self-medicate on crap.

Why not let them self-medicate on tablets that are designed to achieve the result they want?

There's a fair bit of self medication in the illegal drugs market for sure but there's lots of party drugs too.

You've got to legalise everything or you'll leave a space for a black market in forbidden fruit.

...you also don't need any bureaucracy whatsoever to define everything, which is a big win for the purposes of this thread. smile
