Anyone used Castle Lotus/TVR for work?

As per the title really, has anyone used Castle Lotus to service or otherwise work on their TVR?

I think Castle TVR have been very recently been re-badged as Hilton & Moss. If you are a TVRCC member and have access to the forums I believe there is a thread about an organised visit to have a look around their facilities in Feb.

They are my nearest TVR fettlers but their rates are double that of Andy at Sebring if you don't mind a 45 minute drive.

Interesting. The reason I asked is that Castle (or Hilton & Moss) appears to be significantly cheaper for servicing than my other local TVR specialist.

That's what I was thinking of yes. I've lost the scrap of paper with the prices on, but they did three grades of servicing (as opposed to the usual 6 and 12k) and they were about £100 cheaper at the two extremes than the big and little services quoted by the other specialist in the area.

Mid Essex are going to look around on the 26th Feb
they meet at Chelmsford for a run down there best if
you fill up first petrol station next to meeting place
its all on Mid Essex TVRCC site

Good to hear people rate their servicing as they are my closest specialist too. I'm using Austec for continuity at the moment as they know the car from previous 2 owners but I will use H&M for work in future I think.

Used them for my sagaris service. Quality of work was good but took ages, new workshop is very nice.

I've heard more negative than positive - more related to trying to buy a car though than service side.

Never used Topcats but all I hear is praise for them, a bit out of the way for me.....

Austec I've used for the past 5 years, and on the whole I've been reasonably happy with them... don't think I would be human if somethings didn't niggle me.

After having an engine rebuild at Power, I'll be taking my car back for service there...... the lower labour rates up North make it viable and there is something I want to discuss with Dom and I fancy a day out
