new hood prices

hi all

my rear screen needs replacing and re stiching
i thought if this needs doing why not go all the way and renew/cover the whole hood

whats the average price i should be paying to do this ?

and any suggestion on where i could get it done , essex - hertfordshire - cambs borders

Car hood warehouse in Chessington and they list the S series in the drop down menu

Haven't used them but have seen them recommended on here and ultimately will do eventually as they are local-ish to me.

£505 inc VAT for full hood & window it seems.

Barton & Son in Luton have done my rear screen & new leather bits on the Tamora. might be worth giving them a call. Small outfit been doing this sort off stuff since before I was born! so know what they are doing.

I used these people in Romford.

(don't be fooled by the address they had quite a few special / clasic cars in when I was there and no Mazda's as I recall).

Total cost inc VAT was £575 which was cheaper than any other quotes I got (that was for new rear section and recovering of Targa Panels)

Overall I was very happy with the work and the price and there were only 2 negatives:

1 - the car intertior wasn't cleaned up after they did the work (though to be fair it was quite scruffy when I took it in).
2 - One of the targa panels has a tiny bit of slack in the material where it has been recovered.
