BBC2 2350

Shame it's on so late. Not an easy film to watch but well worth the effort, hard going at times and i was thinking about it for days after. It also has an epic score.

I just finished watching it again. First saw it a few years back and was both amazed and horrified by it. Fantastic film

Check out 'Pi' too, by the same director. Vey quirky, very compelling.

It is simply superb.

I do worry for our cro-magnon newbie above who 'enjoyed' one of the more harrowing scenes in recent cinema history.

I watched this film the night it was on TV for the first time, seeing as I would have been 8 when it was made. Anyway, wow what a film... the way it was shot was amazing in terms of the effects, catchy but very moving theme song too.

I agree wholeheartedly. Very harrowing and shockingly depraved in every way.

Personally, I could only manage a semi.
