Outlook Express help needed.
Discussion
Hello folks.
Had my laptop software refreshed recently due to it running like a bag of shite. I exported my address book and messages using the tools provided in OE for safe keeping
Now I am coming back to import them do you think I can get it to work? Not a bit of it, I have 2 files one is "mail addresses.csv" and the other is "BT Connect.iaf", any help on getting these re-imported would most welcome.

1.) Internet Account File (.aif)
In Outlook Express
go to Tools > Accounts
Click on the Import button on the right.
Browse to where your .iaf is and open it
This should restore your BT Connect settings
2.) Email Addresses
.CSV stands for Comma Seperated Values
a common way to export some data which can then be imported by a variety of programs.
But this is not the default (For Outlook Ex.) method of export.
In Outlook Express goto
File > Import > Other Address Book
Then from the list choose Text File (Comma Sperated Values).
Browse to your .csv file and select it and hit next.
3.) Messages - You should have a third file
To import your messages:
In Outlook Ex.
File >Import >Messages and select the type
(Outlook Express version 5) and select the file similar to no 2. aove
