Evening All,

Not knowing London that well I’m after a bit of help!

My sis is getting married in a couple of weeks and my parents want to take the family out for a celebratory meal the night before the big day.

We are staying in Holborn so somewhere fairly close would be great. Really looking for a nice restaurant/gastropub where we can have some great food and drink and a nice relaxing evening to boot.

As I’m not paying budget isn’t really a massive issue but nothing too ridiculous as I suppose they’ve got a wedding to pay for!

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Depending on exactly where you are staying....

Villandry Kitchen? On High Holborn from memory.

Or a short walk (10/12 mins) into Covent Garden? (PH Search Covent Garden places)

There is also a good Gastro Pub down on Fetter Lane (or just off it) - Maybe Swan or something like that - will check if you want...

Good Luck! (With everything)

Pearl - http://www.pearl-restaurant.com/?gclid=CKqBrM-d16Y... - this place is amazing, and not nearly as expensive as you would think - it tastes, feels, sounds, looks far, far more expensive than it really is.

A short distance away in Hatton Garden is the Bleeding Heart Bar/Bistro or the Bleeding Heart Restaurant http://www.bleedingheart.co.uk/ - both very, very good too.

Agree on both of the above!

Pearl for a 'special occasion' and Bleeding Heart for a damn good French meal smile
