so what cars APART from the super exotic and and expensive classics are holding their value or rising in value.

seems kind of ironicly theres a good few british cars managing this

sagaris on the up
elise holding firm
exige s1 on the up
exige s2 holding firm
noble holding firm
e30 m3 on the up
clio williams 3k now? was the same 4-5 years ago?

If you take inflation into account, very few cars actually go up in real terms.

Not a bad thing for some of us who are always looking for a bargain 2nd hand car.

205GTi - I bought low, sold lower, and now a half decent one seems to be fetching £2k!

I reckon Alfa GTV, the V6 version, is creeping back up.

My car had just about finished depreciating prior to Scrappage. It has probably increased in value as people always want a cheap reliable car, which it still is, but it's not for sale

I don't think S2 Elise/Exige prices have stabilised yet; they're still falling, albeit slowly. I suppose early (K-series) S2s might have bottomed out.

My (late VVC K-series) S2 Elise has lost around two grand in the three years I've owned it (from 16k down to around 14k).

Old Landrovers seem to be doing pretty well.

when I bought my S3 in dec '09, there were a plethora of perfectly serviceable examples available for around the £1k mark & eventually bought mine for £985 + a beer. December 2010, it seems that nothing less than £2k will get you into one that isn't going to break the bank in repair costs. I was offered £3.5k for mine a couple of weeks ago

I'm fairly confident I could realistically put my T350 up for sale at what I paid 2 years ago. Sagaris's have gone up a fair bit as have good Tuscans. Griffiths also hold their value exceptionally well.
