I did a 1 way drop from LA to Vegas. They charged £50ish more for that..... That was on a 15day rental.

It wasn't planned (flight cancelled) so i just called them and said I want to drop it off in Vegas.

That was over Decemeber tho....

Well worth paying that bit extra and getting a vette!

Just to add I didn't even need to drop it off at Vegas Airport like agreed on the phone with Hertz! Dropped it off at the Wynn (where we were staying) and they sorting it out.

Ah looks like i will have to do a rental as per return to same place and blag it? Do you mind saying what you paid for 15 days? was the mileage restricted? Thanks

Hertz use the ZHZ which are bright yellow and have the fruity exhaust. Avis use standard cars. You might find an indie rental willing to do it but id expect to pay through the nose.
Hertz also do the standard C6.

I have never seen a mainstream company allowing a one-way on a Vette (or any car from the fun/special collection). I took a ZHZ from Hertz and had to give it back in LA.

I think some PHers have managed a one-way by blagging it at the desk, but its not bookable on line.

Avis definitely do; had a one-way hire from Ft. Lauderdale to Miami last year.

If you do manage to find anywhere that does one way rentals then you may find this useful

Some companies (Hertz and Budget, iirc) don't charge one-way rentals between locations in CA, NV and AZ. I got a Mustang in LA and dropped it in Phoenix 8 days later for around £240 incl. a full tank of gas and all insurances.
