It started life as a Tamiya 1/12th Ferrari 312 T4, I modified it 'quite a bit' to represent Gilles Villeneuve 1979 Car for a modelling competition

That's a very impressive model, a superb paint finish too, did you use Alclad for the wings and wheels?

Looks to be a lot of positive camber on the front though.

Oh Boy, such memories!! I had that Tamiya kit and remember 'bunking off' school one near end-of-term weekday to get the decals on it done. Only to come back the following morning to be asked by my form tutor whether I had got it finished (a supposed 'mate' had grassed me up laugh).

Needless to say mine was a standard 'box build' and had nowhere near the stunning detail or accuracy of yours Nick- it simply amazes me the level of detail you enthusiastic guys go to!! Top, top work!!
