Help with S1 fuel injection

Good evening all,
I have made the fatal mistake of when removing the fuel injector pipes from the fuel distribution head and not lableing them very well ! I did lable and did a nice diagram, both of which seem to have disintergrated.
Does anybody know or have a diagram showing the fuel distribution head and where the pipes goto ?

Believe it or not it doesn't matter - the pipes are feeding fuel all the time - its the quantity that changes.

Sorry Chris, I dont follow ? I thought the pipes acyed like a dizzy , giving fuel at the required time ?

Nope - I thought that too previously but if you read up its very crude - fuel squirts out all the injectors all the time - it just gets more or less according it the position of the flap in the intake.

The electronic fuel injection engine (2.9) fires the injectors in 2 batches of 3 - so 3 injectors squirt at a time whether fuel is needed or not.

Similarly on the V8 - the injectors fire as 2 groups of 4.

That seems a very crude common rail system ? It is good news in fact , saves alot of messing about ! Where did you get your info as I seem to being coming up short , the capri haynes and auto data isnt really helpfull .

You can google Bosch K Jetronic injection and find a few bits

Also don't forget some wedges had the 2.8 engine so it could be worth venturing onto the dark side..
