A quick question - can someone tell me the name of this part and even better where to buy them from? I would describe it as a half round washer but google doesn't help with that syntax. The thing enables a bolt to sit properly in against a curved surface.

Cheers!

No idea; looks a bit application-specific to me so it might not be a generic part. I would try giving Namrick fasteners a ring; if anyone's going to know where to get them, they will.

I recall using something similar for something around teh house (cant recall what though !). I'm sure I got it at B&Q as part of a bolt set. Might be worth a quick trip to nose around the fixtures and fittings you might get lucky.

Or get to a motor factors with the part they might be able to help.

Its doesnt have its own name per se, its a piece of half-round with a hole drilled through it.

Looks like these are standard fittings for beds. Here are some things that are similar to your part. Google for half moon washer, see if anything matches.

Trunnion. Either round or (in this case) half-round.

Thanks guys - although I'm still no closer to finding a source. I might just go down the route of making my own from some half round.

Success (at least if it's the right size). It appears to also be called a "D washer"....

Thanks for the help guys.
