Just a heads up for those that watch this, the new season starts tonight on BBC2 at 2145.

Really enjoyed the previous seasons and been waiting for this, final season, for quite some time.

Not watched the first series, but I loved Pillars of the Earth, is it as good as that?

Actually was sad enough to look on Wikipedia which pretty much concurred with the episode... Would love to know how much of it is accurate.

Well, it wasn't as bad as I was expecting given some of the show, and the executions were not that bad either....... Let's face it, the punishment was rather awful in reality (made rather given the reason for it IMHO!).

Watched it now, didn't know owt aboot it before, thought JRD was Henry VII to begin with, which he would have suited, jaw dropped when I realised he was meant to be big butch Henry VIII, it is still a good show though.

Any ideas why it doesn't appear to be on this week? Can't find it on the schedule.. Hopefully it's not going to be more than a week off!?

No idea why it's not on but I found somewhere or other it's not next Saturday at I think 10.50pm or so.
