Never fails to surprise (and please), the reaction that often is received to a good (and sometimes even not so good) image capture.

The Moon thread prompted me to have a go and the result I got was much the same as many on there but I quite liked it so popped it up it as the desktop at work. Lots of unsolicited ooohs and aghhhs; yet I thought it was decidedly so so in comparison to many I've seen. Easy to forget the power of the camera, but pleasing it can still provoke...

I have an image from the snow storms recently that I printed just to show the folks back home how deep it got. I think it's just a snap (and it honestly really is jst a snap) but office collegaues gave it the ooh, aaah thingy.
