Hope everyone enjoyed the show. It seemed quiet on Saturday compared to previous years (FA Cup Final perhaps?) On speaking to a few stall owners as to the lack of traders in the hall it became apparent that some internal wranglings plus having to pay staff double time due to bank holiday kept a lot away. Didnt find an S2 Esprit for sale as hoped

It was a real shame that more trade stalls weren't there, Iwas a little disapointed that Paul Matty didn't show, although they had said, in the Club Lotus mag, that they would be absent.I was however, very pleased to see a number of Elites on show or for sale. As I have susspected for some time now, Elites and Eclats are becoming "Cool" again, buy yours now while you can still afford one! I especially liked the Yellow series 1, which was owned by the guy selling Elite parts in the Autojumble. All in all, I had a good day, met some good people and the Elite performed exceptionally well on both the outward and return journeys. Looking forward to the rest of the summer.
