Transporting camera on motorbike

Im sure that some on here have motorbikes and take their cameras (slr) with them on ride outs.
My question is do you do anything special ie wrap it in bubble wrap or just stick it in the topbox and forget about it as I'm worryed that the vibrations from the bike might cause the mirror/lenses to misalign have also posted this in bike section.

I'd put the camera bag into the top box (I don't have one but use a tailpack), making sure it won't bounce about or eject unexpectedly.
Between the bag and the seat the vibration shouldn't be too bad unless you're on a 500 single offroad!

I'd be more worried about getting there to find the camera has taken a little trip without me.
