Nan bread as pizza base ?
Discussion
Yes it works. referred to chez Dibble as "Bike saddle pizzas".* The Naan is already cooked, and you only really need a few minutes to cook the cheese and other toppings - the Naan breads won't burn in this amount of time.
We originally got the idea from Nigella.

I had a leftover naan from a curry on Saturday night, along with a small bit of pizza sauce leftover from earlier in the week, so bunged that on top on Sunday, along with a good grating of parmesan and some herbs, then stuck it under the grill for a few minutes. Perfect hangover fodder.
I always use garlic & coriander naan for my homemade pizzas - I use passata as a tomato base sauce, add thinly sliced chestnut mushrooms, red onion, halved plum or cherry toms, freshly ground black pepper, a sprinkle of dried oregano, some chopped fresh coriander, and a mix of grated cheddar and mozarella, whack it under the grill, delicious
