Any good? Sick of the stench of chip fat for hours and hours whenever the fryer is used and these are supposed to help eliminate that as well as using less oil etc.
We had one of the first, it caught fire. Gone back to a £20 deep fat fryer, but 'fry' outside with the aid of an extension lead (no chips if its raining). It wasn't bad, but not as good as chips done in the usual way.
