Tried the weightwatchers thing this week but a night out drinking plus a kebab and chips with a hot chocolate before passing out means I can't eat for the next 48 hours. Oh sod it!

4 Sainsburys Basics Mince Pies for a late lunch, 28 points WTF!

I'm on 80 points since midnight and I have not had me dinner or a drink yet. Supposed to be on 37/day.

If this sodding rain stops I'm going out for a hard 90 mins of cycling then I get 13 points back.

Weightwatchers is hard to do, these new Propoints are worse than the old ones atleast you could guestimate how bad something was.

I was just interested to see how it works but in order to see it I had to sign up for 3 months. Must remember to cancel.

Seems a clever idea when you are at home but when out working it will be very hard to keep tabs unless you bring in your old food.

The premise is same old same old.

Sensible breakfast, lunch and dinner and no snacking apart from fruit and veg. Much what I stuck to for the first 3 months after I came out of hospital following a heart attack.

Been doing loads of cycling and thus seem to be able to eat what I like but it all went to pot with the sh!t3 weather so no exercise but still eating for 2 or 3.

It is an eye opener when you see how many points a mince pie is and to think I would think nothing of eating 6 or more with cream. yikes

Luckily been blessed all my life with a slim figure but as I approach my 50s I'm starting to go flabby so must take it easy food wise and try harder exercise wise.

Their new system makes more sense as it does respect what food is made up of rather than merely counting calories. I think the GI diet makes sense the most, however.
