So I recently decided I need a hobby, something creative, and having been lurking around on this photography forum for a while now and am so impressed by the pictures you lot are posting. Just reserved a Nikon D3100 to pick up tomorrow morning and can't wait to start learning how to use it.

So just wanted to say hello and no doubt I'll be on here with a few questions over the coming weeks - promise to use the search facility first ;-)

This seems to be one of the better sub-forums on PH. Pretty much everyone is helpful (unless you ask for something to be shopped!) and friendly.
