DSA have 6 available - http://www.edisposals.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP.enfinit...

And before anyone moans about "oh no they're getting rid of more aircraft" this has been planned for ages and they are being replaced by Beech King Airs.

Would make a nice private airline.....where's that chap who wanted an A380 gone? hehe

May be some Dominies on there soon, I believe they are being retired the end of this month, while the Tornado F3s and remaining two Nimrod R1s are being retired in March.

No idea as it makes them useless without them, getting replacement engines will be nearly impossible. Unserviceable condition will mean an inspection costing more than the planes are worth.

I'd imagine the engines are being kept for spares, I think they still have others still in service.

Personally I think I'd rather take the engine-less Lightning T5.

That just means it has a professional spec video deck. Beta tape (although now Digital) is still heavily used in Broadcast.

Betacam is, betamax isn't.

Betacam is, betamax isn't.
Might be just a misinterpretation on their part though, given that most people wouldn't know what a Betacam is anyway.

Jetstream is a lovely aircraft and very maneuverable, I did some of my Loadmaster Training on them and on one flight flew across the Humber below the level of the Bridge Road Deck!

They would need to undergo EASA Part M compliance to get a Public Cat CofA before they could be flown on the civil register.
They are still used in the US so I would imagine the engines are available, and probably used on a few other aircraft too.

Those are Turbomeca Astazou engined Jetstreams though, not the civil market Garrett TPE331 engined Jetstreams. You might get lucky and find some from a Pucara if you ask the Argentinians nicely smile

I suspect that your neighbours would prefer it to your noisy cars as it has no engines!

http://www.everettaero.com/ go to aeroplanes and then harrier. They have a GR7 WITH engines. Oh and an airworth FA2. And to go with these two harriers. A couple of two seat Jaguars. Oh and a Dominie for the price of an expensive 3 series £40,000

Fining a couple of Avons shouldn't be too tricky, given my current toy wink
