"Barclays Cycle Superhighways"??
Discussion
This sounds like a very grandiose title for what I imagine is a slightly tarted up cycle route, but does anyone have any experience of them for commuting?
Specifically, I'm looking at the one which runs up the A24 through Tooting, Streatham and E&C, as it's the obvious choice if I start cycling from Epsom to Waterloo for work.
Depending on the weather, I'm going to give it a try tomorrow to work the route out, but was wondering if anyone has any experience of this route in rush hour? Is it decent, or crowded with traffic? Am I likely to get mugged, looking at some of the areas it runs through?

The one that runs through Clapham to the City is great until it starts messing about around Elephant and Castle. I have a slightly different route which involves branching off just after Oval on the way in, which avoids the problems of E&C, and is significantly quicker.
Try putting the two postcodes into Google and play about with the most direct route.
