I'm looking to increase my hard drive space on my PS3 slim from the standard 120gb. The biggest compatible one i have seen is 640gb. Does anyone know if there is a bigger one out there? 1TB maybe? I use it as a complete multimedia system with films, music, photos all stored on there as well as gaming data.

I know it needs to be 2.5" and 9.5mm thick but can't find any over 640gb. All the bigger ones seem to be 12mm thick, which won't fit.

I did see a suggestion from one website where a guy had a SATA cable running out of his PS3 into a large external drive but it just looked a mess.

Any suggestions?

External USB drive with a descreet cable into the port at the front? I do wish they had put an extra USB port on the back of the machine as I have the Playstation Eye permanently plugged in.

What about a NAS? I have the Iomega iConnect with an external drive plugged in and the PS3 can see the contents easily.
