What TVR clubs please?

It is indeed the case that you have to be amember of the TVRCC to access the forums on there.
Whilst I don't know specifically what is it you want from the forums and the reason for your interest- you are indeed already at the best place for discussions/ advice TVR related. Have a browse- general TVR discussions or model/ engine specific ones. I am sure there is plenty here to keep you interested and there is far more going on on here than there is on the TVRCC forums.

Hi BUG4LIFE, as mentioned, this is the best place on t'internet for TVR info, questions and pictures.
I'm a member of TVRCC and whilst it is very good for a lot of things (Monthly Magazine, TVR meets etc), the forums are hardly ever used and there is very little online interaction.
Its a very friendly and knowledgeable TVR community on PistonHeads and unless you've already got a TVR, PH is free and probably has everything you need at this stage.

Another idea you might like to consider is to pop down to your local TVRCC club meet and have a chat with some of the owners there. While forums are great for most things, I always find you can learn better by talking to people in the flesh and physically seeing their cars.
Don't know what you are specially after, but if it is looking at different types of cars and discussing specifics, nothing is better than doing it in the flesh IMHO

You can get most / all the info you will need from the guys on here.
Maybe bob along to one of your local TVR Club meets and you will meet the local TVR owners. I'm sure you will find them to be a friendly bunch, and the drive outs are good fun. Maybe then decide on TVRCC membership?

The TVRCC is well worth a look. I'm really not a car club type person, but it is a pretty good 'scene'. The TVR forum on here is probably every bit as good though and with 90% of the same people - you can ask the same question on the two and you'll get the same answers from the same people quite often.
I would pop along to your local tvrcc meets if you can. Meet some owners see the cars and get advice if thats what you want. If you live in worcester then theres a few you can go to. West mids is always well atended and you are always welcomed Shropshire is also close and likewise well attended

I'd have to disagree there. I'd grudingly agree that PH is probbably the best forum for TVRs
but don't be fooled into thinking that PH is that much busier than the TVRCC forums these days. The activity here has fallan dramatically in the last few years and I'd suggest that's related to the fact that TVR are dormant/dead and the allied increase in independant dealers/service centres being able to help sort owners issues at reasonable prices, likewise parts have become more widely available I believe since the demise of TVR. The TVRCC forums whilst quieter are not the desert some would like to have you believe.With regards to being a 'club' the TVRCC is way ahead of anything here, more regular regional events with local groups meeting at least monthly if not more often and the central club has a full programme of events annually. When I joined the club I was amazed at how socially active the regions were and I've made many friends all over the country by usng the forums and attending national events. You don't have to spend the days/evening talking about cars either, unlike some marques's clubs.
I'd certainly do as suggested in some of the replies above and go to a local meeting of the TVRCC and have a chat and you'll find that the TVRCC is far more than just 'how busy it's internet forum is' as it's about driving the cars, the people who own them and are shared interests..
Oh and Sprint isn't half bad either.... but then I'm biased

However, as I think the OP's question was genuine I did think there needed to be a bit of balance in the replies.I do agree about the 'then and us' though because as you say I'm as big a visitor to this site as the TVRCC one and always have been, IMO they both work well together as they both serve different purposes.

I couldn't agree more, I am a member of the TVRCC and PH and I go to both the local/national TVRCC meets and local/national PH meets. The two clubs are completely different and both IMO very good.I dont think you can compare PH and the TVRcc forum. PH has the forums at its main priority, where as the tvrcc forum is as very small part of what the club does.

The car club is so much more than the forum, and I would encourage any tvr owner to join, for the benifits of sprint, the regions, the tvrcc organised and supported events, the merchandise, the resource if you really need to find something out, or have a specific problem.. not to mention the TVR Sprinting series and the tvrcc supported race series.
So basically there is only one tvr club the TVRCC and its a very good one. join the tvrcc and PH, most people post on both forums anyway..
