New Style Trackday Galeries
Discussion
Hi,
I've just made up some galleries from a couple of trackdays I've been to over the last few days. I've tried to mix up the style a bit to make them more interesting for people to look at. Any comments would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

There are quite a few that could have done with a slower shutter speed, but there are also some really nice shots in there.
The angle of some of them seems to help a lot to my eyes (did you photoshop this in or were you holding the camera at that angle?).
The galleries work for me. Stylish and quick to load.
You might want to consider some manner of watermark across the subject of the image. Whilst I'm not suggesting for one minute that anyone would, you could crop some of these and still have a very usable image where you put your marks...
I like your searchable gallery area too. Some of the images in those are very very good (NB I don't think the one of the D-Type is working when you try and get it full size).
What camera kit are you using?

Thanks. All angle stuff is done in camera. Some of the crop is done in photoshop, as well as the colour work.
I know that the watermarks are easily removed, but by the time you do, the picture is 500x300 pixels (or 600x400 if you clone stamp them) and there's not a lot you can do with them. They look like c**p with intrusive marks on them I think.
As far as the slow shutter speed goes, we have found that people much prefer the frozen pictures, so if there has to be a choice between the two on time grounds, then it has to be those ones first. Have a look in some of the other galleries on the site and you will see more panning shots there - I happen to be a big fan of them. Also have a look on the back of the latest Circuit Driver, the GT3 in the CPA advert is one of mine.
Camera gear is D1x or D100, with 80-200 and 80-400 normally.
I will have a look into the problem in the searching galleries later.

Off to Donnington with RMA's circuit club tomorrow. Photos online by the weekend.
Oh no there not! Looking forward to seeing them.
Digital SLR presumably? Love the vibrant colours you seem to achieve despite seemingly unfavourable conditions. Also, very crisp - I always lose that when scanning to digital from my 35mm SLR.

Sorry he's a bit slack - I will attempt to kick him into gear! To be fair he has been very busy over the weekend, so they should be up soon now.
No doubt I will be in trouble for posting this...
Cheers Dave! Yes incredibly busy over the weekend.

There are some nice shots in this gallery, much better than the first ones imho.
