Leaky roof, different kind - HELP!

I'm just posting this up on the off chance that someone out there, now, has experience of this problem, unrelated to cars (I hope!!).
This evening I spotted some water coming down the wall in a downstairs room in my house. The ceiling is also obviously wet along a narrow line. It's not obviously drenched, but distinctly wet in places - especially along the joint between the ceiling and the wall. It's underneath the bathroom
Does anyone think it's in imminent dnager of falling down, so that I'll have to call one of those %&@*£ overpriced emergency plumbers, or is it likely to wait until morning when I'll get the builders (just up the road, it's a brand new house and they're still building others) to come and sort it?
Sorry it's houses not cars, but any help would be appreciated.

fill a few buckets, pans, bath, sinks etc with enough water to get you by, then turno off the stopcock (should be under your kitchen sink). Whatever the leak is it should stop.
Chances are if its under the bathroom it may be spillage from bath/shower which has just found a way out, but best not to take chances. Don't call a plumber out tonight unless you make a habit of burning £20 notes. If the leak slows/stops when you turn off the cock then leave it until a more wallet friendly time tomorrow to call a plumber.
To be honest, theres not much to plumbing really - most stuff you can fix with a new bit of pipe and a couple of speed fixings from B&Q. Just as good as soldered joints, less chance of burning the house down.
The hardest part is probably removing the bath panel if the leak is from under there! Just my opinion, sorry to all plumbers out there, but it ain't rocket science!

It's not actually dripping and the roof hasn't fallen down ... I suspect it's a leak from the bath drain, there was water on the floor.
I'm goin gto bed now, I'll chase the builders at 08:00 tomorrow. I've got the site agent's mobile phone number!
