Can anyone recommend a decent fuel system cleaner for a Diesel?

Cheers

I used Millers when I had an Escort TD and it did a great job of reducing smoke, helping the car start and getting a bit of performance back.

Forte are very good. The oil additive stopped my Celica using so much oil, never used this one though.

Try a fuel additive called BG44K, put it in every diesel that failed on emissions when I was running an MOT testing centre and it worked every time.

Excelent stuff. Loads of people rave about it. I did a test with a smoke tester on my car, millers reduced the somke output by just over %50 (not a very scientific test, but it definatley made a difference). I also find fuel consumption goes down (get an extra 2-3mpg).

Don't know how good it is at cleaning though as I'm not sure of a way most people could tell?

I used Redex on my Golf. That was a petrol though. Sure they do a diesel version as well. Pretty cheap to buy in Halfrauds as well.

Get to your local asda, they are doing redex for two quid a bottle just now, way cheaper than halfords.
